Brittany Murray

My name is Brittany Murray and I’m an artist and Creative Director living in Katy, TX. I’ve worked in corporate marketing for 15 years and have led creative teams for 13 years. In my fine arts, I work in water colors, pen and ink, acrylic, and -rarely- oils. If you asked me what type of artist I am, I think at heart, I’m mixed-media. Most of my art time is spent sketching or doodling in meetings.

Here are some random facts you didn’t ask for:

Favorite artist: Salvador Dali (I discovered surrealism in highschool)
Favorite size canvas: I love large 4x6 foot canvases OR the very convenient 4x6 inch watercolor pad.
Favorite food: roasted Japanese sweet potatoes or dates with almond butter!
Why I love art: I know that our God is the ultimate Creator- he is the creative spirit that flows through everything. He is why the flower blooms, why artists draw, why Stephen King writes amazing novels. The gift of creation has the power to heal and transform our lives. I hope that my art has a positive effect on you when you encounter it- and i do hope you encounter it. I hope you feel less alone and I hope you are reminded that you matter. That your place in this world is real and beautiful.
